About Graphics Processing Lab
Graphics Processing Lab (LPG - acronym in Portuguese for Laboratório de Processamento Gráfico) was founded in 2019 by professors Gilson Alexandre Ostwald Pedro da Costa and Guilherme Lucio Abelha Mota at Rio de Janeiro State University (Uerj). LPG encompasses researches of distinct and complementary areas of the growing field of Graphics Processing in the context of the Post-graduation program in Computational Sciences and Mathematical Modeling at Uerj. Among its main concerns are computer vision, remote sensing, image and signals processing, 3D data analysis, machine learning, deep learning and pattern classification.
